William Prince is a Canadian singer-songwriter from Winnipeg, Manitoba. He was born in Selkirk in 1986. He is a descendant of Chief Peguis. His father, Edward, was also a musician and preacher. William traveled with him and played gigs in northern Manitoba. In 2016, William won the Western Canadian Music Award for Aboriginal Artist of the Year.
